Spotify in 48 hours removed about 750,000 tracks from about 15,000 artists, all with one thing in common; the company who is responsible for the distribution of the tracks.
That X distribution company is sending the same template to all the emails saying that they are "Artificial Streams" reported by Spotify, which in reality many of them were organic from their fans or even tracks with less than 1K streams.
Also, this distributor X is making his own play listing service, seems like X decides the merit of the song, and then sends that info to Spotify.
Moreover, Spotify has already responded directly to some artists with some reputation and claimed not to have eliminated any tracks and to deal with the distributor X.
If you do a thorough research on what happened you will realize that you are almost guaranteed to be using the same distributor.
